A new set of dentures from Smiles of Tulsa in Tulsa, OK could have you smiling in no time. Losing teeth can be stressful and living without a full set of teeth can cause unnecessary embarrassment. We can create a set of dentures for you and your lifestyle, whether you need a partial denture, a complete denture, or you dream of a more permanent and personalized denture.

Complete Dentures

Whether this is your first set of complete dentures or you’re ready to upgrade to a new pair, we can help. These days, dentures look more natural and are more comfortable to wear than ever before. It’s normal for dentures to feel a bit awkward for the first few weeks, but you’ll soon be eating, speaking, and grinning with more confidence. If you should experience excessive irritation, we’re happy to examine the denture and may suggest a relining, so they fit better.

Partial Dentures

If you’re one of our lucky patients who only need one or a few teeth replaced, we can fit you for a partial denture. Partial dentures are usually made from a combination of metal and acrylic. This way, your partial dentures are strong, thin, and match the color of your surrounding teeth. Corbyn VanBrunt, DDS will decide on the best composition for your partial denture based on your specific needs and anatomy. A partial denture will also help distribute your chewing force more evenly which will help your digestion and nutrition.

Implant Retained Dentures

Implant retained dentures are fixed to strategically placed dental implants, resulting in a denture that is effectively permanent. As little as four implants can support an entire arch of prosthetic teeth, depending on the state of the bony ridge of your jaw. The implants are made of titanium and carefully placed by Corbyn VanBrunt, DDS in a safe and routine surgery. Because the implants are made of titanium, they’ll easily fuse to and even strengthen your jawbone as it heals. The result is a denture that is securely fixed in place, that looks and feels just like your natural teeth.

Patients who opt for implant retained dentures never have to worry about an embarrassing slip while eating, or unclear speech due to ill-fitting dentures. While some patients may not initially have adequate jawbone mass to support the implants, we may be able to use bone grafts to improve the structure.

Dentures to Implant Bridge

The dentures-to-implant bridge is a relatively new dental treatment option that may be suitable for patients with fairly severe dentures and implant-supported crowns. The dentures-to-implant bridge procedure involves removing the original prosthetic devices and placing them on a temporary, removable bridge over the top of all remaining teeth to allow time for bone mineralization and bone grafting procedures.

Cosmetic Dentures

Cosmetic dentures provide an exciting opportunity to craft your dream smile. Whether you want a set of dentures that are perfectly pearly and straight, or you want to retain some of your unique characteristics such as a gap or overlapping teeth, we can fabricate that with cosmetic dentures. Using advanced computer imaging technology, you can effectively shop for the exact smile you want. You’ll have your choice of gum shades, tooth shapes, and alignment. You can even bring in an old photo so we can recreate the smile you’ve always loved.
